Noble Engagement with Lisa Maynard
In this episode, MJ talks with Lisa Maynard about her rewarding career years in the fields of adoption, child welfare and informed trauma-sensitive therapy and yoga instruction and of course staying youthful.
Lisa Maynard, LMSW, ACSW, TCTSY-F, a Licensed Master Social Worker, has advanced training and expertise in trauma, attachment and adoption. She utilizes a person-centered approach, specializing in supporting women adjusting to life transitions including change in relationships, spirituality, new parenting or empty nesting, change in career, separation or divorce.
Lisa serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in need of support. She is one of approximately 100 yoga professionals in the world certified in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), an adjunctive evidence-based intervention for treating complex trauma. Lisa integrates evidence-based therapies, meditation and mindfulness in her work with clients guiding them to explore life challenges in a safe, supportive environment.

Among her many titles She is a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance, a Reiki certified practitioner and a meditation teacher.
She also shares her insight on how she sees her "retirement" that includes a beautiful, lush flower garden, taking care of the relationships that mean the most to her and finding a balance between work and pleasure....we never really retire.
Lisa is a positive light even in darkest times.
